In the green north of Tenerife, the Maritim Hotel is located directly by the sea. It is only 0.8 km to Playa Jardin, a black sand beach surrounded by an idyllic sea of flowers. The beach belongs to the town of Puerto de la Cruz, where you will also find many shopping opportunities and of course the Loro Parque. The zoo is only 0.5 km from the hotel. A further recommendation is the inexpensive combination ticket: in addition to Loro Parque, visit Siam Park, a water park in Costa Adeje.

 

Tenerife's landmark and Spain's highest mountain, the Pico del Teide, can be seen from the hotel. In addition to a cable car ride up the island's volcano, a hike in the surrounding national park is also an option. Other excursion destinations in the north of Tenerife are the old towns of La Laguna and La Orotava, the green Anaga Mountains, the capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the Masca Gorge, Icod de los Vinos with its most famous dragon tree and the beautiful town of Garachico. In the south, the Playa de Los Cristianos, the Pirámides de Güímar or the rocky coast of the giants: los Gigantes, are also worth a visit.
