Begin in the heart of Old Delhi with a visit to Chandni Chowk, where you’ll experience the famous cycle rickshaw ride weaving through its maze-like lanes. From there, drive past the heritage landmarks of Jama Masjid and the Red Fort, before continuing on to Rashtrapati Bhavan, the President’s House, renowned for its striking architecture and grandeur.

Your next stop is Connaught Place, Delhi’s iconic circular shopping hub, home to a wide array of international brands. After some time browsing, proceed to Rajghat, the final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, where you can pay your respects. From here, visit Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by his widow, Biga Begum, fourteen years after his passing. This monument is celebrated for its remarkable design and historical significance.

As evening approaches, head to another UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Qutub Minar. Constructed by Delhi’s first Muslim ruler, Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the complex also features several other historic structures, including the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, the Iron Pillar of Delhi, Alai Darwaza, the Tomb of Iltutmish, and the unfinished Alai Minar.

By the time you arrive, it will be evening, the perfect moment to immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Rajasthan’s capital. After checking in at your hotel, take a leisurely stroll through the Pink City, where you can sample local delicacies at its many eateries, browse for souvenirs, and admire the distinctive architecture that gives Jaipur its charm.

After breakfast, spend the day discovering the grand monuments and celebrated landmarks of Jaipur, beginning with a visit to the magnificent Amber Fort. Often referred to as the “gem of Jaipur,” this UNESCO World Heritage Site was built by Raja Man Singh in the 17th century and is famed for its exquisite features such as the Sheesh Mahal and the Magic Flower. Enhance the experience with an exhilarating jeep ride up to the fort, evoking the grandeur of royal times.

Continue to the City Palace Museum, constructed by Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. Once both the residence and administrative headquarters of the Kachhawaha rulers, the palace complex impresses with its monumental arches and towering walls. Inside, you’ll find fascinating displays of weaponry, royal attire, and artefacts that offer a glimpse into Jaipur’s regal past.

Your next stop is the enchanting Jal Mahal, or “Water Palace.” Built in 1750 by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber, this architectural marvel sits serenely in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, showcasing the elegance of Rajput design.
