Shah Jahan founded the city of Shahjahanabad, now referred to as Old Delhi, in 1648. The famous Red Fort in the heart of Old Delhi was once the most opulent fort of the Mughal Empire and it boasts the Diwan-i-Am, Hall of Public Audience, and the Diwan-i-Khas, Hall of Private Audience. Opposite the Fort is the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in the world, built by Shah Jahan to dominate his city. Your tour will include drive past Red Fort & visit to the Jama Masjid Mosque.
Take a cycle rickshaw ride through the back streets of Old Delhi to get a firsthand experience of the hustle and bustle of the ancient city. Also visit Raj Ghat which is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi in Delhi, marking the spot where he was cremated following his assassination in 1948. It is a popular pilgrimage site for Gandhi followers and is considered one of the most significant memorials in India. The site is enveloped by lush gardens, creating a tranquil and serene atmosphere that reflects Gandhi's philosophy of nonviolence and reverence for nature. Raj Ghat is a place of solace and contemplation, where visitors can pay their respects to the iconic leader and reflect on his teachings.
Proceed to Central Delhi, Visit Stepwell “Agrasen ki Baori” - originally built by King Agrasen during the Mahabharata period and later restored in the 14th–15th century during the Tughlaq or Lodi era, Agrasen ki Baori stands as a remarkable example of Delhi’s historic stepwell architecture and ancient water traditions.
Later visit India Gate - War Memorial Arch, drive past the Rashtrapati Bhawan – the President’s Residence, the Old & New Parliament House – the Government headquarters and other Government buildings located in the heart of New Delhi.
From here you will drive to Humayun’s Tomb - the second Mughal emperor’s mausoleum or the blue print of the Taj Mahal. It is one of the best Mughal buildings in India and an introduction to the Mughal architecture.
Before we conclude the day, visit to Gurudwara Bangala Sahib, where you will have an opportunity to see the holy shrine of Sikhs. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is blessed by the eighth Guru of Sikhs – Guru Harkrishan Sahibji. Originally a bungalow owned by Raja Jai Singh, this huge complex features a devotion center, a large pond (for holy dipping), a missionary school, an art gallery, a charitable hospital and the free kitchen service – called Langar. Listen to the holy hymns recited by the priests as you visit the community kitchen that serves free meals to all throughout the day.
At Gurudwara Bangla Sahib you also have an opportunity to visit the community kitchen where you can learn how to make Chapatis (Indian flat bread).

Agra is renowned around the world as the city of the Taj Mahal, but this royal Mughal city also boasts many monuments that exemplify the pinnacle of Mughal architecture. No journey to India is complete without a visit to this former capital of the Mughals and the city of the Taj Mahal, the world's most beloved monument. With its relaxed atmosphere and its abundance of architecture, handicrafts, and jewelry, Agra is one of the most remarkable cities on the planet.
Later proceed to visit Agra Fort which is an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and the seat and stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. It was built in the late 1560`s by Emperor Akbar, with later embellishments by Jehangir, his son, and Shah Jahan, his grand-son. The gates and walls are constructed of red sandstone and the Fort is surrounded by a moat.
The late afternoon is at leisure or shopping in local market.

Proceed for sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal (remains closed on Friday). Visit the spectacular Taj Mahal with its perfect symmetry and romantic history. Described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, this stunning mausoleum has become the de facto tourist emblem of India. It was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his second wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
Later, return to the hotel for breakfast before you head to Ramathra, which is approximately 206 kilometers away and will take around 4 and a half hours. On the way, be sure to stop and visit Fatehpur Sikri, a historic city with a rich cultural heritage.
Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned red sandstone city constructed by Emperor Akbar as his capital, was a veritable fairytale. Its ruins remain in remarkable condition, allowing us to envision the grandeur of court life during its heyday. On your arrival in Ramathra Fort, check in at the hotel.
Ramathra Fort, a 350-year-old hilltop fortress located near Sapotra in Karauli district, Rajasthan, positioned between Agra and Ranthambore National Park. It is now a beautifully restored heritage hotel known for its tranquility, stunning landscapes, and immersive rural experiences.

Early morning, proceed to Nahargarh Fort to witness a breathtaking sunrise overlooking the Pink City and the surrounding Aravalli Hills.
Continue with The Living Desert Tour – Nahargarh Water Walk, a curated storytelling experience focused on Rajasthan’s extraordinary water heritage. Though a desert state, Rajasthan is a true water civilization where traditions, art, textiles, architecture, cuisine, and festivals are deeply connected to water. The arrival of monsoon rains in July even marks the beginning of major regional celebrations.
During this engaging 1.5–2-hour walks, explore ancient water structures including channels, stepwells, storage reservoirs, and aqueduct-like systems while learning about their purpose, design, and historical relevance. The experience is enriched with fascinating anecdotes and tales, set against the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. After the walk, return to the hotel for breakfast and time to freshen up.
After your breakfast, you will explore the city of Jaipur.
Drive to the ancient capital of Amer (also known as Amber) to see the fabulous Amer Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur city (uphill and downhill by Jeep). Maharaja Mansingh, the most successful General of Mughal Emperor Akbar, began the construction of the majestic Amber Fort in the 17th century. Before the City Palace was built in Jaipur, Amer served as the seat of power. The fort is surrounded by fortified battlements and overlooks the tranquil Moat Lake. Ruins and remains are scattered across the Aravalli hills, and sprawling crenellated walls encircle the area. To reach the main gate, visitors can ascend the fort in jeeps. Inside, the chambers and hallways of the palace are renowned for their exquisite design and decoration. The town surrounding the Amber Fort is also home to beautiful small temples and the historic Stepwell known as “Panna Meena ka Kund”, one of Jaipur’s finest examples of traditional stepwell architecture. The stepwell once served as an important communal gathering space for the local community.
Following lunch, will proceed to visit other sightseeing points of Jaipur city.
The tour highlights include a visit to the City Palace Museum, which boasts a collection of Rajasthani costumes, armory of Mughal and Rajput swords of varying shapes and sizes with intricately carved handles. Additionally, the museum houses a plethora of antiques and artifacts belonging to the ruling family, including a vast array of weaponry. Furthermore, the art gallery features an impressive collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia, and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin, and Sanskrit. Proceed to the Jantar Mantar Observatory, a stone astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the 18th century. En-route photo stop at Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds).

Following breakfast, drive to Pushkar (141 Kilometers, 03-hour drive approximately).
On arrival, check in to the hotel. The picturesque Pushkar is set in a valley just about 14 km off Ajmer. Surrounded by hills on three sides and sand dunes on the other, Pushkar forms a fascinating location and a befitting backdrop for the annual religious and cattle fair. Pushkar is among the five dhams of pilgrimages that are held in high esteem by Hindus. It is said that in battle lord Brahma killed the demon Vajra Nabh with a lotus flower, whose petals floated down to earth and landed in three places in and around Pushkar where lakes sprang up. The charming Pushkar lake amidst the hills has fifty-two bathing ghats, built around lake. The water around each ghat is supposed to have special powers. The Naga Kund is believed to give fertility, Roop Tirth gives beauty and charm, Kapil Vyapi Kund water helps in curing leprosy and a dip in the Mrikand Muni Kund grants the boon of wisdom. Pushkar is a city of temples of all sizes.
Later in the afternoon, visit the famous Brahma Temple, said to be the only temple dedicated to Brahma in India. A red spire marks the temple, and over the entrance gateway is the Hans (goose), the symbol of Brahma who is said to have personally chosen Pushkar as his place. Also visit the Pushkar Lake.

Visit the bustling Clock Tower (Ghanta Ghar) and explore the lively Sardar Market, known for its colorful textiles, spices, handicrafts, and local specialties, with opportunities to interact with local artisans and witness traditional craftsmanship firsthand.

Begin your day with a visit to the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest and best-preserved forts in India, dramatically perched on a rocky hill overlooking the city.
