Alternatively, discover the skyscrapers and entertainment of Shinjuku, browse the sophisticated shops of Ginza or sample some of Tokyo’s famous sushi, ramen and other Japanese specialities.

Enjoy another full day to experience Tokyo.

You could explore the fashionable streets of Harajuku and Omotesando, visit the peaceful Meiji Shrine or discover some of the city's museums, gardens and traditional neighbourhoods. For a different perspective of the city, consider visiting Tokyo Skytree or enjoying panoramic views across the capital. With no scheduled sightseeing, the day is yours to shape around your interests.

Overnight in Tokyo.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and make your way to the station for your bullet train journey from Tokyo to Kyoto. The high-speed rail journey offers a comfortable and memorable way to travel between two of Japan’s most important cities.

On arrival in Kyoto, make your way to your hotel and check in. The remainder of the day is free to begin discovering Kyoto, whether you choose to explore the surrounding streets, visit a local restaurant or simply relax at your hotel.

After breakfast, enjoy your first full day exploring Kyoto.

Discover the city’s traditional character through its historic temples, elegant gardens and atmospheric streets. You could visit Kiyomizu-dera, explore the traditional lanes of Higashiyama or wander through the historic Gion district, known for its traditional architecture and cultural heritage. Kyoto is also renowned for its Japanese cuisine, cafés and traditional tea experiences, giving you plenty of opportunities to experience the city beyond its famous landmarks.

Enjoy another full day in Kyoto with plenty of time to explore at your own pace.

Visit some of Kyoto’s iconic temples and shrines, discover the peaceful Arashiyama area or walk through the atmospheric paths surrounding its famous bamboo grove. Alternatively, spend time exploring local shops and traditional streets for Japanese crafts, souvenirs and regional specialities. With no scheduled activities, you can choose how much of Kyoto you wish to discover before continuing to Bali.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and travel from Kyoto to Kansai International Airport (KIX), Osaka, by bullet train/rail transfer as arranged.

At KIX, board your flight to Bali (DPS). On arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport, meet your transfer and travel privately to your hotel in Seminyak. Check in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Relax at the hotel or head out to experience Seminyak’s lively selection of restaurants, cafés, shops and beachside venues.
